Other than holiday shopping/knitting madness, making etsy orders, mailing out ebay orders, and applying for PhD programs has taken up a lot of my time.. another blog to come soon.. as soon as Christmas is past us..Wish me luck in my applications.. I have my fingers crossed for VCU, UGA, or Clemson!

Sorry the Ogee is giving you a hard time! It is a challenging lace pattern if it's your first attempt, especially the increase section, but it's doable! After 11 rows you should definitely be seeing the pattern, so something must have gone wrong if you're not. Did you do a swatch? Not just for sizing, but it's a very helpful way to work through a single repeat of the pattern so you know what it's supposed to look like. Maybe you could send me a photo of what you've got so far and I could try to figure out what's going wrong?

Thanks Beth! I REALLY love Audrey Kawasaki's work...and I guess it shows! I think it would be great to know that The Sea Maiden landed in such a lovely home. :) I've got a new piece on the go called "The One Who Sees Everything"....you'll have to keep an EYE out for it.
